Alice, the youngest of three Monroe sisters, still holds out hope that the uneasy relationship with her two sisters can be mended, an improbable wish since they live in different parts of the world. After her grandmother's funeral, Alice returns home to Chicago and her high-powered career but thoughts of Hideaway Bay and the house her grandmother left to the three sisters are never far from her mind.When it seems that her career comes at too great a price, namely her personal life, Alice heads back to Hideaway Bay to start over again.
