The Amber World — Michael Morris

“The Amber world” covers the history of the Bay of Plenty and New Zealand from the early settlement period, through to the Treaty of Waitangi, the Battle of Gate Pa, and into the twentieth and twenty-first centuries, where it deals with contemporary events such as the Rena grounding and deep sea oil drilling. It deals with themes of possession and free will, and has a strong environmental message.
