Jack Four's Jackdaws and Jack of the Gorgons — Michael Lawrence

 

There were once four brothers called Jack, who all set off into the big wide world to seek their fortunes -- but an Ogre turns three of them into Jackdaws, leaving it to the youngest Jack to rescue them. In the second Jack tale, when Jack meets some Gorgons, it's his cheesy, smelly feet that save the day, and along the way he invents gorgonzola cheese.
