Description
On a visit to Rotschilt Manor, Agi is warned by her Uncle William about her family's history with the secret societies and the Illuminati. He goes on to say that she must “wake up” and learn how to protect herself from the rich and powerful people that rule the world. Agi returns to boarding school, and chooses not to believe William due to his history of mental illness, but for some reason she can't get her uncle's story out of her head. Indeed, it isn't until she is given the lead role in her conservatory's production of “Petruscha” that she is able to think of anything other than what her uncle told her. Agi is flabbergasted that she got a lead role, because she is known as a troublemaker in school, and is even more surprised to learn that she will be dancing with Colin Sinclair. Colin is the boyfriend of Tiffany Borgia, and Agi and Tiffany have a long history of mutual loathing. Initially her relationship with Colin is born out of sheer spite, and her love of tormenting the most popular girl in school. However, it isn't long before Agi finds herself falling in love with Collin. Agi is happier than she has ever been, until an accident meant for Agi strikes her dearest friend, and Agi starts to realize that her uncle's story may in fact be true. Secret societies actually do exist, and her best friend paid the price for Agi's blissful ignorance, and if Agi chooses to continue ignoring their presence, she and everyone she cares about will surely perish.
