The Zombies of Tasmania — M.C. Rooney

In the year 2044 the world was decimated by a plague of the living dead. Twenty years later on the small island of Tasmania a new community has slowly arisen from the ashes of this destruction with the political and monetary system being completely forgotten. But an ex-state politician wants to control this new society by returning to the old ways and will do anything to see it done. Even if it means killing anybody who stands in his way.
