Use the documents and broadsheets in this Jackdaw to experience first-hand the struggle for women's rights, chronicled from the 1600s through the 1970s. Letters from Abigail Adams and Susan B. Anthony are included as well as newspaper articles, sheet music, political cartoons, and a composite of portraits of outstanding women's rights activists of the 19th century. The oppressive conditions that existed in institutions and the attitudes against which brave women fought are relfected in the Broadsheets and in the documents.
