Description
For many centuries now, a magical book protected the Stars of Christmas, which made sure that Christmas was the greatest festival in the world. The festival of harmony, generosity, hope, and joy.
But when Juliette, Klelia and Théo destroy the book, Christmas loses its magic and the world is disenchanted. To turn it into a wonderful festival again, Ginnie, the Christmas Fairy, decides to send the children to the South, in search of the Star of Harmony.
But will they manage to discover it before midnight, and restore the enchantment of Christmas?
EXCERPT
“I am Kelly, the fairy of Christmas surprises.”
“More like the fairy of Christmas blunders,” one of the elves grumbles.
“Oh, so you're here, are you?” Kelly says. “Aren't you happy to see me?”
“No, of course I am…” mutters the elf.
“Don't get upset with us if we're a little wary of your surprises,” a star teases her. “The last time, you almost turned me into dust.”
“That was just a little mistake,” Kelly says defensively. “I was only trying to give you a little more sparkle.”
“What about me? Do you remember the year when you turned me into a toad?” asks a fairy with white wings.
“Another little mistake... Okay, I mixed up the spells for ‘toad' and those of ‘princess.' But at least I fixed my mistake, right?”
“And when you wanted to take me to the North Pole?” Father Christmas asks her. “Remember what happened?”
“Yes, but we got there in the end, right?”
“But after the North Pole authorities had locked us up because you had forgotten to ask permission to enter their secret toy laboratory.”
