Lark, Federal Year 142 — Mark Littleton

Lark is now 18 and must go into the militia as a fighter against the dreaded Federal Empire. Her skill as a leader and warrior soon become evident even as she watches her soul-mate Tenn grow in the same areas. She is falling for him, but doesn't want to tell him yet so it won't change his way of dealing with the enemy.
