"Gnome" Kevin Elliot is actually making a TV commercial; his canine companion, Gnuttley, is the Kuchen­meister Krunchy Kookies spokesdog. And while everyone else in town thinks the dog is cute and the man cuter, Holly wants nothing to do with either of them. Some bossy man is definitely not in her game plan. Poor Kevin!
