Description
For a cold place, Grateful Bend was showing photojournalist Judy Treherne a pretty warm welcome. Everybody in the little Arctic town was very friendly -- everybody, that is, except Paul Monroe, the Royal Canadian Mounted Police officer she would be following around with her camera for the next six weeks. His attitude was enough to give a person frostbite....
And it wasn't as if she wasn't friendly.... The fact was, if Sergeant Monroe of the Mounted Police would give her a chance, things could get downright cozy between them. But nothing she tried seemed to thaw him out. She wasn't giving up, though. It was time the Mounties learned they weren't the only ones who always got their man!
