Milicent LeSueur — Margaret Moseley

Milicent Le Sueur is a mystery novel. Its main character, Milicent Le Sueur, is a homeless person who has settled upon a small New England town as her habitat. She is eccentric, as so many homeless people are, but beneath her rather startling facade lies a keen and perceptive mind. When the body of a high school girl is found near Milicent's favorite hang-out, it is Milicent who becomes the number one suspect. But then it is also Milicent who eventually leads the police to solve the crime. The story is related in the first-person by Milicent herself.
