The Latchkey Mystery — Margaret Goff Clark

Minda Carr and Adam Gonzalez are latchkey children. A rash of robberies in Palm Gardens spurs them, along with two friends, to create a lookout system that would record any suspicious activity in the area and report it to the police. In the end, the watch works and Adam saves Minda from a potentially dangerous burglar.
