“Don't,” I say. I don't think I like this Darrell. This angry, belittling D.

I shut my mouth as he secures my ankles at the corners of the bed.

My heart rate kicks up. “What -- what do you mean?”



A slow evil smile spreads across his face, all traces of tenderness gone.
