After kissing Johnny at Sam and Millie's wedding, Melanie Samson -- otherwise known as the Ice Queen -- has found herself in something of a predicament. Mel has discovered she likes Johnny, in a very non-platonic kind of way, and she's disgusted with herself because of it.
Sure, Johnny's tall, handsome and intelligent; and his touch is enough to make Mel's heart beat in a way she'd rather it didn't but Johnny's a player. And if there's one thing guaranteed to make Mel want to run for the hills it's a man like her dad, the man who went for cigarettes one Christmas Day and never came back. Right as her mother stood carving the turkey for fifteen guests.
Now it's Christmas all over again and Mel has to deal not only with her feelings for Johnny but her loathing of all things Christmas. Which is no mean feat given that her friends are obsessed.
Will Mel and Johnny finally realise they, like, do belong together?
