But on Halloween, the women fall to sharing forgotten tales of a haunted apron, a possessed chessboard, a cemetery the night after Memorial Day, and cremation urns that come to no good. Their wholesome worlds turn weird and complex before it's time to shut off the lights to venture homeward in the dark.
