Murder Among the Roses — Laurel Lamperd

When Detective Matt Allenby arrived in the hamlet of Taylors Crossing in the hills near Perth in Western Australia, to investigate the murder of one of the inhabitants, he thought it would be a straightforward case. He didn't expect the locals to have secrets of their own, which would conflict with his investigations. He has to ask himself whether any of these people have been involved in the murder or whether it was it someone from outside the town. Then Matt finds he is falling in love with one of his suspects.
