Description
Set in Roman Britain in the Emperor Hadrian's reign. Crossroads at Isca is the story of Faine and Marella, two British girls. The nieces of a British chieftain, they are taught in the arts by a runaway Greek slave. When Faine and Marella meet two young Roman Tribunes from the great Roman fort on the plain, their lives are changed forever. Laurel Lamperd has always had an interest in the history of Ancient Rome. Writing Crossroads at Isca has satisfied one of her ambitions to write a novel set in Roman Britain.
