Description
Tony Cassella doesn't want to be a private detective anymore. He has a new baby, and he may even have a wife soon. He also has problems with the IRS, and these things tend to slow a man down. So he's traded his trench coat for a quiet but profitable Laundromat in the Austrian Alps.
But it's not so easy to retire. The mother of an American girl killed in an avalanche wants to know about her daughter's last days. A Japanese conglomerate wants him to find a computer disc that disappeared with the Japanese playboy who was killed with the girl. And the CIA thinks he should help them find the disc since he owes money to their friends at the Treasury. It seems the only people who don't want Tony snooping are a few out-of-work East-bloc spies. They want him dead....
