Description
Silvranja and her mother Argent seem to be all that remains of the unicorn species. Leaving her just-weaned foal in a huge cavern filled with their ancestors bones, Argent goes in search of the almost certainly mythical Albishadewe to replace Silvranja's father, who was murdered by the evil that is relentlessly driving unicorns to extinction. But the evil kills her too, leaving Silvranja to be cared for by the Piksenvolk, a small race who live in Piksenville under Geheimberg (the Secret Mountain). Silvranja discovers hers isn't the only species in danger of extinction. Even humans are threatened. To restore the balance of nature she must leave the safety of the Place of the Unicorns and help the humans of her land in a fight for the survival of the land. In doing so she is forced to learn what it's like to be human and nearly loses her life.
