Chloe Hudson has spent much of her life, trying to uncover the mystery of what became of two distant ancestors who were ship-wrecked off the coast of Mozambique in 1888 and never seen again. Her uncle is determined to solve the mystery once and when new evidence is found on a dusty market stall - a jewellery box belonging to Anna Berkeley, the wife of the couple - they gather a team to discover their ancestors final fate. Chloe is given a locket containing a picture of a baby and when danger strikes, it returns her to the Mozambique jungle of a century past. There, she is rescued by a handsome young wild man who can't speak English, but who seems to hold some clues to the couple's whereabouts. But where does this young man fit into the mystery?
