Description
A major terrorist attack on England by Islamic extremists leaves the government in chaos. But the terrorists are British citizens. It is not only the government that is thrown into turmoil, it is communities up and down the country. A new and militant right-wing group calling itself White Rose is established to counteract the power of what it perceives as an Islamic core determined to take over the country. The chief aim of White Rose is the end of non-white immigration to the United Kingdom. And in the north of England, a political activist by the name of Eric Semple is swept to power in a bi-election no-one predicted. A tide of violence is unleashed, the consequences of which nobody could aim to predict. This novel is told from the perspective of a multitude of voices: those of politicians, activists and ordinary people caught up in the middle of a conflict that threatens to become a war.
