Andrew on Safari — Keith White Jr.

"Sweat dripped down Andrew's face and off of his nose onto the jungle dirt below. The air was hot and sticky. It was hard to breath in the heat as Andrew hid in the high jungle grass, quietly waiting. He knew that it was only a matter of time before the wild beast of the jungle would show itself.

'Those clothes are brand new ' said Andrew's mother. 'You're going to be covered in grass stains when the bus comes to pick you up and there wont be enough time to change.'

Andrew stood up and apologized. He had been laying on his belly on the front lawn. His brand new clothes could have easily been ruined.

He was playing safari because he was so excited about the field trip his school was taking to the zoo today. Andrew couldn't wait to see all the animals."
