When New Yorker Yara Marino heads to her father's birthplace in Brazil, she doesn't expect to feel an emotional connection to a place about which she knows so little. She never learned Portuguese, never visited Manaus and has no idea how to make a caipirinha. Then again, meeting scorching hot bartender Desiderio Gabriel isn't part of her plans either.
