Description
Third year nurse Lyn Drake had very definite ideas about nursing. She didn't approve of the medical staff demonstrating and going on strike for better conditions, It was unfortunate that Martin Woodhouse of the psychiatric unit held different views, because Martin was the one man in whom Lyn was interested.
Their friendship was not helped when Mair Williams decided to snare Martin for herself. Mair had strong and militant views about increased salaries for nurses and she seemed determined to enlist Martin on her side. Lyn became more and more depressed â€" and when she was posted to the psychiatric wards â€" to work directly under Martin Woodhouse â€" the situation became both tense and embarrassing.
