Description
Does “happily ever after” really exist or is it found only in fairy tales? Gail and Mitch Conway believe they are living their own happy ending when Gail goes into labor. Instead of celebrating the happiest day of their lives, Gail experiences a medical crisis that leaves Mitch struggling with a life that he never imagined. Mitch is coping with raising a newborn and running his business when African-American attorney Taylor Burton enters his life. Sparks fly and soon Mitch and Taylor are in love and unable to make a permanent commitment to each other.
Confused, Gail finds herself existing between life and death. When angel-of-death Hawk arrives to guide her to her next life, she rejects his help and refuses to cross over. Determined to stay close to her husband and baby, the comatose mother uses every angel trick possible to separate Mitch and Taylor. Will Mitch and Taylor have their own happy ending or will they become simply two people who met at the wrong time? Will Hawk convince Gail to let go and allow her family to move on and have the life they deserve? All concerned will need to put their own wants and needs aside for the sake of others if happiness is to be achieved.
