Description
Welcome to Homer, a small town in the middle of rural New York State filled with normal people or so you would think. Joey Roberts and her daughter settled in Homer after her car broke down and the kindness of strangers helped her back on her feet after her dancing career fell apart. She was content with raising her daughter in the small town until a mysterious handsome stranger named Craig Black rolls into her neighborhood. They have strong chemistry and a unique connection until one night when they hear someone being murdered next door. A drug dealer was shot and killed at a motel and they saw his body spread across the bed. Instead of calling the police they flee the scene because Black has a secret. The next day the news informs everyone that the body was found in the local dump. Joey and Craig know the body was moved but don't know who did it or why. The local sheriff wants to pin the murder on the Black, his motives unclear. As the mystery of the murder unfolds so do the characters in the town of Homer. Corruption in the law enforcement agencies runs rampant. They control a huge drug smuggling business in the local surrounding areas and find their operation is being comprised by the murder of one of their drug dealers. They find out the DEA is snooping around and can no longer trust even their own. Joey's world is turned upside down and no one is who she thought they were, including her handsome stranger.
