Description
Having written one successful detective story, Charles Applegate wanted to find a really amusing locale for his next one. He chose Bramley Hall, a progressive school set in the middle of the English countryside and filled with misunderstood children and dubious adults. At first he found all the amusement he wanted, from a beautiful blond graduate who had been promoted to "matron" (all the boys voted for her) to Maureen, a fat little girl who really wanted to join the Anarchist Country Community. But then events took a very serious turn -- murder -- and Charles found himself involved with an ominous group of people collected around the memory of a man named Bogue ...
