Money. A river of it, pouring from the slot machine and pooling at Lucia Bowen's feet. Cameras clicked, a crowd gathered and Lucia felt ill. She should have stayed by the Baccarat Room, pretending she wasn't watching that elegant man in the tuxedo. Better still, she should have stayed home in Edison, New Jersey; right now she could be safe in her own bed.
