That's the way younger sister Beth had always felt compared to her glamorous, popular sister, Lynn. When Lynn was killed in a tragic accident, Beth felt that she should try to be as much like her sister as possible to make up to her grandmother for the loss she had suffered.

In the beginning, Beth was amazingly successful. Lynn's old friends took her into their crowd. Even Lynn's old boyfriend appeared to fall for her.
