Bound in ancient leather, the solid gold pages were inscribed with indecipherable markings, symbols that resembled nothing ever created by man. The book lay hidden for eons, patiently waiting to entrap one man with its mysterious beauty, to bend his will to its dark powers.

Anyone in possession of the book would be granted treasure and wealth beyond measure…but this tainted prosperity had its price. For the only payment the book extracted was death, and whomever served it would soon find his name written on its gold pages -- in blood.
