Description
Should an old acquaintance call and say he has been threatened with murder you say he is a fool, a neurotic, a liar or perhaps just a daydreamer. But the man who called on Jonathan Blake might have been telling the truth, because of a past record of making enemies. Blake felt he ought to find out. But what he found was more than he bargained for. There was haunting, doublecrossing, planning for murder and - last but certainly not least - the murder itself!
