CHASE THE DEVIL
Salamanca, Spain 1812. Wellington's army is about to break out into Spain but Lord Wellington suspects a trap has been laid for him as the right flank of the French army is wilfully weak. Wellington sends out Captain Robert Lockhart and a party of soldiers from the 5th of Foot the Northumberland Regiment to investigate behind the French lines and indeed discovers the trap.

Major Philippi Duval is in charge of springing the trap and his plan for a massacre of the British troops are foiled by Robert's intervention and saves the day. Robert uncovers Duval's camp and locates the bodies of countless prisoners who have been tortured and shot.
Vowing to right a wrong, Robert sets out to hunt and kill Duval, (nicknamed the devil by his men) a chase that will eventually take Robert back to the Niagara River in Canada and the first site of Duval's atrocities.
