Saloon singer Emerald Langton is ready to fight her way out of any tight corner as she heads across the Arizona desert in search of her no-good gambler husband, Guy. En route she tangles with Kiowa Indians and Julius Peabody, leader of a crooked ring of contractors determined to sabotage peace initiatives with the Apache. Should Emerald divorce Guy and marry the loathsome Peabody for his money? Or should she give herself to the chivalrous captain of the US cavalry, Thad Birch? Amid treachery and bloodshed, she has to make her choice.
