Uncle Tom's wishes when he died were quite clear; he wanted to be cremated. ‘Burned in me box' to use his exact words. It said so in his will, found in the file marked ‘Government Junk' in his rolltop desk.
Trouble was, the will didn't say what was to be done with his ashes.
So, naturally, it turned into a family feud. And, in the way of family feuds, everyone eventually ended up on one of two sides.
