Description
A monarch butterfly takes the amazing 1500-mile journey from the Northern meadow of its birth to its winter roost in the mountains of Central Mexico. Having emerged from the chrysalis it created as a caterpillar, it flaps and floats, spins and spirals. It cups air and cuts light as it travels alone and with millions of others who are similar but never the same. Fluttering through time and soaring through space, the monarch epitomizes the odyssey that is each of our lives.
