Jason is stuck and afraid for the future. Success he thought was his for good feels like it's slipping away. A future he once thought so bright seems bleak compared to the memories of times and people long past. Even the city he loves isn't what it used to be. To find his connection to the present he must now make peace with his past--the girls he's loved and lost, and all of the decisions, debauchery and destruction that have brought him to where he is: chasing cocaine down San Francisco's streets as another one of its glorious era's nears its end.
