Ruaun3 — Jane Shoup

Three high school girls murdered in a school year is hard enough to accept. Add a character from a computer game breaking through to his real life and Matt, a closed off, seventeen-year-old honors student, is as baffled as he is alarmed. Yesterday, Ruaun3 was just his favorite game and mental escape; today, he discovers it may be a real place in the year 2813. With the help of Sirena, his ultimate fantasy girl of Ruaun3, Matt is able to travel there for short stints, but it is a dangerous place in an era of ruthlessness and rebellion. Matt's own world has its share of death and destruction, and as he is drawn into the mystery of a serial killer at large, another plot looms that may be even more destructive.
