The Christmas season should be the most joyous time of the year, but to Penny Arnette, it seems far from festive. She is fired from her job as a department store manager, and her eight-year-old niece is in the hospital again.

Some holiday magic finds her, however, when she is hired to be Santa Clause in the local mall. The children adore her, and she finds herself feeling the same way about handsome Corey Zeller, head of public relations at the mall. With so much going on in her life, Penny is hesitant to give up her heart to Corey, but his warm brown eyes and kindness are hard to resist. It seems that the holidays may be full of cheer after all--until Corey fires her! Suddenly her world is crumbling around her again--and it may take the help of a real Santa Claus to put it back together...
