On a quiet summer day in Solvang, Ca., the ex-wife of county homicide detective Clay Wrens is murdered; all clues point to him. While trying to clear his name, he uncovers the secret life of his ex-wife and her ties to a terrorist plot to blow up Los Angeles International Airport.
