Jake Brenner treks to Mexico in an attempt to find himself ... and exorcise the ghost of his dead father. But he soon crosses paths with Buck, an old adventurer, Fidencio, a Mexican gangster and Laura, the gangster's mistress.

Greed prompts Jake to join Buck's scheme of looting the gold and jade from an ancient Pre-Columbian tomb. And, to further complicate matters, Jake and Laura fall in love.

The three soon find themselves fleeing to the mountains to escape the vengeful wrath of Fidencio and loot the tomb of its treasure.
