When Black Wolf seeks the Great Spirit's advice on how to save his suffering Sioux people, the last thing he expects to hear is that he must help a white man -- John Slocum.

In the freezing Nebraska Panhandle, Wolf guards Slocum while he's sick -- but they're not alone in the cold. One-eyed Jacks and his rowdy crew are hunting for liquor and trouble. They may be lookin' to warm up on whiskey, but reachin' for Slocum's, they'll end up stone cold dead.
