Description
Gat Teague is a hitman for a gangster in our world, a world of cops and robbers. Badly injured, he seeks a place to go to recover, but instead he finds himself transported to a weird world, the Land of True Magic, a land of warlocks and witches, of a princess seeking a hero to help her fight the dragon that represents the Land of the False Magic. In this world he finds he must become a hero, an unaccustomed role for him, but he must come out of himself to become something he never dreamed he could be. In company with a warlock and a knight in shining armor he fights green lizard men called Creatures. But as their allies are stripped away, in the last analysis he and the princess alone must deal with the dragon. If they are successful, Gat will end his journey the hero the princess sought. Otherwise the Land of True Magic will be lost forever to the mists of deceit.
