Description
Run. Like pieces falling into place, running away with Jackson is the easiest decision in the world. By his side, everything is right, and Annabel feels safer than she ever has at home. But home is coming after her, and something seems to be terribly wrong with her body…Race. With Annabel gone, the Claremonts have descended into chaos. Now, it's up to Andrew to bring home his baby girl safe and sound - and he'll tear down anything, or anyone that gets in his way to do it. Redeem. All Jackson wants is to be with the love of his life, safe in his arms, away from the cruel machinations they left in Atlanta. Unfortunately, underestimating the Claremonts might not only crush that dream, but lead to his and Annabel's very downfall. ExcerptAnnabelle was moved to her own private room. From her bed, she could see out of the window at the hospital parking lot. The sun shone brightly in a tidy square on the tiled floor. On the chair beside her bed, Jackson slept. He'd been there all night, barely leaving her side only to get drinks or use the bathroom. The anti-sickness medication being pumped directly in to Annabelle's veins meant that she'd slept soundly and not woken up to stomach cramps and nausea in the early hours. She was beginning to feel hopeful that the doctors had actually figured out what was wrong with her and that soon she'd be better so that she and Jackson could continue on their journey together, their journey away from Atlanta and all their demons there. Annabelle smiled sleepily to herself. She felt hopeful that things were about to get better for them. Contentedly, she leaned back into her pillows. And then something passed by her window, something which momentarily darkened the room, and Annabelle's contentment was shattered.
