What would you do if you were haunted by the smell and taste of your favorite food? You'd soon get sick of it! This is what happens to Scott after he attends the new kid in class's amazing birthday party. Sigmund lives in a mansion and his party is the best anyone at school has ever been to. There's a mini circus, hundreds of party lights, a magician and a swimming pool full of grape juice! Scott manages to upset Sigmund when he's rude about his pet cat, which seems to be able to change color. Then he refuses to eat the unusual party food and sneaks into Sigmund's mom's kitchen, to see what else there is to eat. His best friend Pete is not as silly and enjoys the green party pies, glow-in-the-dark cakes and strange colored ice-creams... and he's careful not to eat the pizza offered to Scott by Sigmund's mom, though it looks like the best pizza either boy has ever seen. Could Sigmund's mom be a witch? Could she have put a spell on Scott? Sigmund seems to be a regular kid but his mom is something else... Will she remove the pizza spell from Scott if he apologizes? Scott and Pete are desperate to find out!
