Waiting For Tomorrow — Hannah Brown

Waiting for tomorrow tells the story of baby-boomer Brenda Wilson who lives on a desolate housing estate in N. England, much hated by her mother who feels she has come down in the world. Set against the social changes of the 1950s and 1960s, the story follows Brenda's progress in escaping from her environment, though not necessarily to a better place.
