Ernie Tanner has been sweeping streets in Detroit for 27 years. That all changes when a letter arrives in the mail telling him his job and his pension have been cut.



Ernie's not alone, however, and he quickly marshals support. They're Vietnam vets, frustrated city workers, and outcasts of society. Ernie calls them friends. Watch as they take the law into their own hands.
