Description
In A Perfect Man (a selection from the short story collection Fire Ants and Other Stories by Gerald Duff), a churchgoing upright lady in Tennessee must find a way to raise bail money for her lowlife and mentally challenged son who's in jail for mistakenly sticking up a convenience store. She resorts to approaching an old friend, a well-to-do druggist, with whom she had a fling years ago. Each of the two gets what's deserved in the transaction, and the son is sprung from jail.
