1927. Stratton-Porter was an American feminist, environmentalist, photographer and one of Indiana's most famous female authors. Many of her writings were moralistic and romantic novels. The Magic Garden is about a little boy and girl that meet in a beautiful garden and the little girl promises the boy that some day she would meet him there again.
