All his life, Mike, has been spoiled and self-indulgent. Suddenly, his personal world comes crashing dwon around him when he is arrested for a drunk-driving accident. As a condition of his probation he must attend Alcoholics Anonymous meetings under the supervision of his probation officer--and in the process, Mike falls in love with the officer's sister.

Patricia Norbert doesn't mind helping people when they need it, but Mike needs more help than most. She does her best to guide Mike as he accepts Jesus Christ as his Savior while at the same time, gently nudging him through the AA twelve-step program. When Mike finds himself, though, will Patricia lose a piece of her heart?
