Description
DIGGING UP THE PAST
Successful mystery writer Frank Smith's life turned into a plot from one of his novels when his own wife went missing near their Phoenix home four years earlier. Her body was never found and police are still trying to prove Frank killed her for the insurance money. Hoping for a brief escape from his troubles, Frank attends his fiftieth prep school reunion in Baltimore, a place with another mystery for him to solve.
Four twelve-year-old boys disappeared without a trace into a densely wooded area on the school grounds two decades ago. Intrigued and still trying to make sense of his own personal tragedy, Frank begins sleuthing and uncovers some deeply buried secrets. When news that his wife's body has been found reaches him, Frank must contend with his past just as he's beginning to think some mysteries are best left unsolved.
